For over eleven years, Neutral Ground has been Manhattan's premiere gaming
store. When Neutral Ground first opened, the majority of the customers were
Magic players. One day Dungeons and Dragons players started showing up. A year
or so later, the first networked computers were set up in the store. With the
growth of the gaming industry, came the growth of Neutral Ground. We moved into
our current location a few years later, where we now have over 6,000 square feet
of gaming space.
Neutral Ground's mission statement is to provide the best possible gaming
experience to everyone that enters our store. We offer comfortable seating, a
clean and friendly atmosphere, and a huge selection of snacks and drinks to
enjoy while gaming. Our diverse inventory of board
games, miniature games,
role-playing games, and collectible card games is unmatched in the city. In
addition, we carry singles for Magic the Gathering, Versus,
Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon,
Universal Fighting System, and Dreamblade. You can also come in and enjoy your
favorite video games for X-Box, Game Cube, or PS2, for a very modest fee. Our

Running tournaments has always been in our blood, considering Neutral Ground is
the child of Gray Matter Conventions, formerly New York Magic. (They're the ones
who run all the Magic Pro-Tour Qualifiers in our area.) In fact, we run about 4
sanctioned Magic tournaments per week. In addition, we run weekly events for
Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Versus, Dreamblade, and more! Although it should go without
saying, OF COURSE we have organized play for Dungeons & Dragons and Wizkids
games!

Neutral Ground supporter, thank you! Thanks for all your support, thanks for
helping to make gaming fun, and perhaps most importantly of all, thank you for
your continued business. If it weren't for all of you, Neutral Ground wouldn't
have turned eleven years old in May 2006. All that being said, this is still
just the beginning! We're not done setting the standard for what a gaming store
